The YETI® Tundra® 50 will be the envy of your tailgate or the staple for your campsite. We made this Tundra extra deep so you can stack ‘em high, and the T-Rex™ Lid Latches make sure you’ll never see a busted latch again. Our rotomolded construction makes this cooler virtually indestructible — it can take a serious beating outside the stadium or in the bed of your truck without sacrificing on performance. Plus, the built-in tie-down slots let you ratchet it down for maximum beer security. Using it as a camping cooler? You’ll appreciate the bear-resistant construction. No matter where adventure calls you, the Tundra 50 is up for the challenge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great cooler When I bring home ice in my "green cooler" the ice would last 4 days sitting in the kitchen. I bought the Yeti 50 after Christmas and now I only refill ice every 7 days. it is a heavy duty cooler but worth it to me. The wife now wants a Roadie to take in the boat, so saving up. WELL WORTH IT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Durable Construction! I was rear ended this weekend by a pick up truck and I had my Yeti 50 Tundra on a trailer hitch cargo carrier. The Yeti completely absorbed the entire 15+mph impact of the wreck and prevented any damage to my SUV. Absolutely can't say how impressed I am with the strength and durability of the construction of this cooler! The driver of the pick up truck was so impressed that he said "I'm definitely going to buy a Yeti cooler now". Even though it won't properly close now due to the impact, it still held all my food and beverages cold for the weekend mountain trip! Now, I just have to replace this Yeti for a new one...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from yeti in hawaii Cooler is perfect for camping on the beach here in Hawaii. I live on Kauai and camp on the west side at Poli Hale, and if you know how the sun bakes out there then you know how quick normal coolers loose their cool. The yeti gives me a few more days on the beach with cold beers the whole time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooler for life! Had it for a couple years now and it's still rocking like new. I have owned other coolers and whole heartedly believe Yeti is by far the best. When buying a Yeti, you are investing in a cooler for life. Only problem, I want them all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Already owning other Yeti products and coolers I purchased this one for a Casting platform for my flats boat. The extra height of the Tundra 50 gives you a big advantage when spotting those Redfish tails on the flats and yet has a small enough footprint so its not in your way when moving around the boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I don't know why anyone would look elsewhere for a cooler. Yeti coolers are as good as it gets in coolers! Bulletproof and they work!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ice retention We bought our Tundra 50 as a Christmas present for our 1973 offshore sailboat. When we traveled to the boat for New Years, normally a 4 hour trip, I'd packed it with a gallon of milk plus a mix of frozen & unfrozen foods/beverages. I had little room left for ice but managed to put in 2 bins from our home refrigerator ice maker. Now, a week later, there is still a bit of the original ice. Fantastic! OK, temps in the SF Bay Area have been in the 40s-50s so not hot/sunny. Our ancient cooler wouldn't have held that ice for more than maybe 48 hours. While expensive, it seems to be money well spent.
